National Volunteer Week - Supporting Gum Gully Restoration, Brooklyn, Wellington

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. We couldn't do the mahi/work we do without the commitment and dedication of our amazing volunteers. Come and join us for a day of conservation volunteering and celebrate National Volunteer Week - Te wiki tūao ā-motu with us!Today we will be supporting the Gum Gully Restoration group in Brooklyn. Local volunteers have been working hard to restore Gum Gully ki Tūranga Rere through weeding, planting and litter clean ups. Come and join us and lend these amazing volunteers a helping hand. CVNZ will provide all of the tools/equipment required including gloves and vests. We will also provide morning tea refreshments and snacks. Please bring: a packed lunch and a full water bottle. Please wear: long sleeved clothing to protect yourself from cuts and scratches, a hat, waterproof jacket and sturdy, covered footwear. Volunteers are welcome to meet our team onsite, or get a ride in our CVNZ van.
